Eheads was an experiment gone bad. It had escaped from the lab and wreaked havoc upon its creators and the unsuspecting townspeople. With this interview, diane and i hope to capture that monster and put it in a cage where it belongs, so that anyone with a
curiosity can study it, dissect it or just feed it with peanuts if they wanted. Me, I’ve already made my mind up about the band.
It was good while it lasted, but now all i can remember vividly is the ugly business that led to the breakup. I just wish those people hadn’t involved Diane and our family. It was really uncalled for.
All of you people be warned: if you ever say something bad about diane again there will be bloodletting. We dont want to blow it out of proportion, but sometimes you have to fight fire with fire. Still, i dont want to be the one to talk about it because you would have to put me in a straitjacket and censor every word that would come out of my mouth. Diane is a better candidate for telling the story because aside from being there when it happened, she still has the mind to be objective and the bottom line is i trust her. Her opinion is what i value most. This may spark more mudslinging and controversy or it may finally put everything to rest. Either way we’re glad its finally on print

DIANE:
First let me recount the events of that fateful day when Ely finally decided to quit. It was a Sunday, and we were on our way to my family’s house in B.F. Paranaque when all of a sudden we got a call from roadie Sammy saying that we were already late for a gig. Now the S.O.P. (standard operating procedure) was, gigs are supposed to be confirmed at least a day before thru text or handouts. Since neither of this happened, for the record, we were absolutely oblivious of the mall show that day! I mean kaya nga andyan and roadie to make sure that the artist is well informed of all the details of the show. That was his job. What we resented the most was that kami yung pinamukha niyang unprofessional. Sammy claims that he told us about the gig the other night during a bar show. If he did clearly tell us about the mall show one of us would definitely have remembered. Bottom line is even if he did verbally mention the gig to us he still did not follow S.O.P. He could have texted us like he always did before. Syempre nasanay na kami na ganoong systema kahit sa former managers. So who”s unprofessional now? The mall show pushed through, we had to miss our family gathering. But everybody was already giving Ely the cold shoulder, as if sinadya niyang ma-late. Never mind that kami ang na-hassle because of Sammys #!&@up. In their eyes, Ely is being a rockstar.
The next day Ely decided to take up what he thought was unprofessionalism on the management’s part with the manager himself, Butch Dans. It turned out that the verdict was already out. Butch didn’t even investigate further, he just took his employees word for it. His exact words to Ely were, “it’s his word against yours”. Apparently Sammy lost no time defending himself. Siniraan niya agad si Ely and would you believe pati ako dinamay! Insinuating that we were probably too high on drugs that night at that bar to remember anything. Diyos ko naman may pamilya na kami and nag.aaral pa ako that time. We were raising a kid! Do you think pagaaksayahan namin ng panahon ang drugs! I had cancer, bawal nga sakin kahit yosi o alcohol-#!&@ magda-drugs pa ba ako? Siyempre gusto ko pa makita lumaki anak ko no! Pero according to Butch, the accusation that we were on shabu came from Mica (then girlfriend, I mean ONE of the girlfriends, of Marcus). First of all i havent even tried the stuff! One more thing, she also claimed na she told me about the mall show
kaya impossible daw na hindi namin alam. Unang-una wala syang sinabi. Di ko naman sya kinakausap. Ayoko na sanang mag-namedrop especially now that tapos na ang lahat pero #!&@ngina, grabe yung ginawa nya di man lang niya naisip na we have a name, privacy and family to protect. Parang siya yung my sayad. To this day ipaglalaban ko ang innocence ko kahit ipa-drug test nyo pa ko just so you know who’s really telling the truth. God! That girl is such a hypocrite, sana tignan-tignan niya nga yung kasama nya para malaman kung sino talaga ang junkie! Ely is even more pissed off at her kasi super imbento at pakialamera at pati ako dinamay. I really dont like trashtalking other people. But this time below the belt na kasi what she did. I’m just defending myself and my family. Sa totoo lang we could sue them for slander sa ginawa nilang yan. Why Thirdline (management firm who handles eraserheads during that time) would even listen to just anybody is beyond us.
Anyway back to the story. What struck us the most was the other three(Marcus, Raimund, Buddy) supposedly Ely”s “friends” corroborated Sammy”s incredulous and ludicrous story without even talking to Ely first. Ok let me put it this way. Kunwari for the sake of argument kung mali man si Ely, hindi ba usually kahit mali yung kaibigan the least a true friend can do is to give his/her friend the benefit of the doubt? Pero in this case totally walang nangyaring ganun. Ang masakit pa lalo e na wala naman talagang kasalanan si Ely pero they still sided with the management. Nasaan yung camaraderie? Ten years down the drain. Where was the friendship? Then it dawned to us that wala na talaga. Ely was so disgusted by it that he decided to give the other three the dose of their own medicine. After all nabastos kami by their betrayal. Ely quit the band just thru text. There was no sense in staying and continuing a band where members stab each other in the back. It was never like a competition for Ely bec. he wanted it to work out. His priority was the whole band not himself. You dont form a band and then go creating rivalries. Ely’s not like that. After all he chose Raimund to be with the band and lingid sa kaalaman ng marami, Raimund actually almost got kicked out of the group before they even signed up with BMG records dahil nga he was displaying a
selfish attitude. Strangely everybody did sense early on that Raimund is treating Ely more like a rival than a bandmate. Even when performing Raimund always seemed to be either trying to show off or upstage Ely, to detriment of the performance. Ely got turned off by that. Who wouldnt? Well di ko talaga nakita or kilala ang Eheads until nakilala ko si Ely, noon ko na lang sila napanood talaga at narinig. Kahit di ako fan ng bands at wala ako masyado background sa scene, napuna ko pa rin na parang wala talaga silang chemistry on stage unlike the Mongols parang sa tingin ko mas nag ja-jive talaga personality and music-wise. Tsaka super humble ng members, they’re really just genuinely happy to be in the band.
Anyways going back to topic, dahil may pinagsamahan na sila ni Raimund, Ely chose to work it out and still kept him in the band. Bakit pa nagbanda si Ely eh di sana nagsolo na lang siya. He never considered anybody in the band rival. Ely’s a team player. Ang issue lang naman ni Ely kay Raimund was the manner in which he achieved his personal agendas.
Hindi naman na-badtrip si Ely sa pagbuo ni Raimund ng bagong banda. He was actually happy for his bandmates newfound success. Kaso never kasi naging open si Raimund about it. Not that Ely or the band wanted Raimund to ask permission. He could do anything he wanted. Sana lang nagsabi or nagkwento man lang, hindi yung biglang tahimik tapos magugulat na lang kami na magsusumbong yung staff(ng eheads office) na Raimund, with Karen(ex manager ng Eheads) would use the Eheads office to book his band’s gigs.
Nakarating nga sa amin through concerned employee na may times na sinusulot nila what were supposed to be gigs for Eheads. Bad trip naman yun. tapos may mga shows pa Eheads na bigla na lang ika-cut ni Raimund short para makahabol sa Sandwich gigs. Wala lang finesse.
Again, we dont have a problem with Raimund putting up another band sana lang he was more open and considerate, less sleazy. That”s it lang. Other than that ok naman masaya pa nga kami for him.

Pulp: What do you hope will happen after this comes out?
Diane: The truth is we came out to end this at hindi para mag-umpisa ng away. The whole point of this interview was for us to defend ourselves from all the vicious attacks we”ve received following the Eheads breakup and to finally shed light on what really happened. Its not a crime to fight back especially when your re#!@tion is at stake. Kung kami papipiliin we would still not choose to do this pero they left us with no choice. This is a last ditch attempt to end this controversy and feud. we are ready to make peace anytime basta huwag lang talagang mamersonal. Sana talaga matapos na ito nakakasawa na. To Thirdline(management firm who handles eraserheads prev) just please stop attacking our personal lives. Its unfair. To the ex-bandmates: we wish you’d stop being resentful and bitter towards Ely. He has nothing against you. Wag niyo kalimutan yung pinagsamahan niyo, wag na din sana manumbat, after all, its common knowledge that it could’ve been another John, Mike, Edward or any other man in your places then, and it would have still been the Eraserheads. You are all talented and Ely believed in all of you, that’s why he wanted to share everything with you. Hindi niyo na kami kailangan tapakan to prove your worth. There are better ways to achieve our goals in life especially with talent like yours. To the diehard Eheads fans: its not the end of the world, they’re all still alive and you still have CDs to listen to. Matanda na yung apat pagbigyan niyo na silang gawin ang gusto nilang gawin. If you really love them support their new endeavors. They would appreciate that. You dont need to take any sides. This is about great music. Don’t be too attached to the image (it’s just an illusion) they’re just people like you and everybody else trying to earn a living. Just enjoy the music, whoever it may come from, Sandwich man or Cambio, the Mongols (Pupil) or kahit sino. Magaling sila lahat. Support filipino music. And sa mga tao na sumusuporta pa rin sa lahat at walang kinikilingan, mabuhay kayo! Thank God na madami paring mga tao na may breeding at matatalino who understand that good music trancends everything including musicians themselves. Ang tawag sa kanila ay Jejemon. Hindi ko tanda kung kailan nagsimulang tawagin ang mga ganyang magtext na jejemon, pero sigurado ako--dati pa sila nag-eexist, ngayon lang nagkaroon ng tawag sa kanila. Nako, High School days ko? Nung naka-receive ako ng "Ajejeje" hindi ko na-gets kung ano yung ajejeje na yan. Binasa ko siya ng literal na Jejeje...anak ng, HUH? Jeje? nung pina-clarify ko kung ano yung Jeje, ahh..HEHE pala yun..HEHEHE..so yun na pala ang trend na tawa nung panahon na yun? (kung hindi ako nagkakamali e, 2nd yr. High School ako nun--wala lang, share) at isa pa, tinawag pa ako ng nanay ko para lang ipabas sa akin yung text ng estudyante niya, hindi ko din naintindihan nung una, pero sa masinsinang pagbasa, napa-AH, yun pala yung sinabi niya? (wala din lang, share lang..)

Jejemon is a pop culture phenomenon in the Philippines. A Jejemon is defined by Urban Dictionary as "who has managed to subvert the English language to the point of incomprehensibility and online lynch squads." A Jejemon is described as a "new breed of hipsters who have developed not only their own language and written text but also their own sub-culture and fashion."
Etymology
The word "Jejemon" either supposedly originated from online users' penchant to type in "hehehe" as "jejeje", supposedly because the letters "h" and "j" are beside each other, or that "Jeje" is derived from Spanish, whose speakers denote the interjection as laughter, and that it is appended by "-mon" that came from the Japanese animé Pokémon, with "-mon" meant as "monster," hence "jeje monsters."
Origins
The origins of short-handed typing was through the short messaging service, in which each text message is limited to 160 characters. As a result, an "SMS language" developed in which words were shortened in order to fit the 160-character limit.
In the internet, the Jejemon phenomenon started in "early April." On April 14, 2010 at Pinoy Tumblr, a post about vice presidential candidateJejomar Binay indicating that he was the Jejemon's preferred vice presidential candidate, complete with a fake poster with him called as "Jejemon Binay." Later the use of word "Jejemon" to refer such people made rounds in various Filipino internet message boards.
Such short-handed language is not limited to Filipinos: Thais use "5555" to denote "hahahaha," since the number 5 in Thai language translate to "ha."
Demographics
The Jejemons are said to be the new "jologs", a term used for Filipinos of the lower income class. However, Jejemons are not of inferior intellect, nor are they "jologs" at all, for they exist in exclusive schools and science high schools. The parameters of being classified as a Jejemon are still unclear, and how the different "levels" of "Jejemonism" are reached, although there are named levels such as "mild," "moderate" and "severe" or "terminal."
Jejenese and Jejebet
The language of the Jejemons, called Jejenese, is derived from English, Filipino and their code-switched variant Taglish. Their alphabet, Jejebet, uses the Roman alphabet, including the Arabic numerals and other special characters. Words are created by rearranged letters in a word,alternating capitalization, over-usage of the letters H, X or Z and mixture of numeric characters and our normal alphabet.[2]
Examples:
Filipino: "Eow PowZ, mUsZtAh nHa?" translated into Filipino as "Hello po, kamusta na?, translated into English as "Hello, how are you?"

Reaction
Initial reaction to the Jejemons is irritation and bewilderment. Jejemons are likely to encounter hate; some had seen their Facebook wall with people wishing their death. Several Facebook fan pages were created both in support and against the group. However, celebrities such as Rico Blanco, Alessandra de Rossi and Ces Drilon have condemned the wholesale ridicule of the group.
YouTube videos were also uploaded parodying the Jejemons, connecting them to the current election campaign. Edited television advertisements of Nacionalista Party proclaiming their disdain for Jejemons, and an edited Gilberto Teodoro photograph with him holding a sign saying that the Jejemons be brought back to school went viral.
The phenomenon has merited news reports in GMA's Saksi and 24 Oras.
Biglang sikat ang "jejemons" hindi lang sa mga social networking sites sila napaguusapan, naging top-searched sila sa yahoo, at minsang nag-trend sa twitter, naisulat sa mga peryodiko, nabalita sa mga telebisyon at maging ang mga artista ay may opinyon hinggil dito..at oo nga pala, pati din si Kuya, ng Pinoy big brother e may ganitong task (at kung ano yung task na yun, wag mo kong tanungin, hindi ko din alam, napanood ko lang sa patalastas..) Makikisali ako sa bandwagon at ako'y maglalahad ng aking masasabi ukol dito, ayoko man sanang sumunod sa kung ano ang trend ngayon, gusto ko lang sabihin ang POV ko..(at ang dami ko pang sat-sat..tssss..)
Kung bakit naisipan kong mag-post tungkol sa kanila, eto ang dahilan:
Linggo ng tanghali, oras ng paggising ko (ganun ako oras ng gising ko, literal na tanghali..jejeje..ay..hehe pala..XD) nagbago ang kalimitang ginagawa ko paggising, usually bukas ako agad ng computer pag ganyan at mag-internet maghapon magdamag, pero dahil sa walang internet sa bahay, binuksan ko ang telebisyon at pinanood ang pang-tanghaling palabas tuwing linggo. At ayun nga, pinag-uusapan nila ang mga Jejemons, at ewan, ang dating sa akin e, para silang kinakawawa.
Ang akin lang, oo, hindi man ako sang-ayon sa mga nakakalokong istilo ng pagtetext nila, hindi man ako ganung makaintindi at kailangan ng masinsinang pagiinitindi sa gusto nilang sabihin, pero tao pa din naman sila. Pang-alien man yung istilo, pero yung insultuhin yung buong pagkatao nila yung hindi ko sinasang-ayunan sa mga "Jejebusters" hindi man lahat, pero meron, at maging sa mga artistang nakita ko sa telebisyon na pinagtatawanan sila na, kung hindi man yun yung nais nilang iparating, pero ang dating sa akin eh pagtingin sa kanila ng mababa. Yung iinsultuhin ka sa comment page sa facebook na ayaw makipag-usap sayo kasi Jejemon siya? Aw, naaawa naman ako dun. Pare-parehas lang tayong tao, kanya-kanyang trip na nga lang, ang sabi. Yun gusto nila sa buhay e..JEJEJEJE..ay..HEHEHE pala..
Respeto, yun lang. Pero dahil sa kasikatan ng issue na to, may nabasa nga ako sa facebook na dati daw siyang Jejemon, pero naliwanagan at bumalik sa normal na istilo ng text na kaintindi-intindi. Siguro'y darating ang panahon na mawawala na ang mga "jejemons" at "jejebusters" ...magiging peaceful ang lahat. Pero sana nga, gumamit na sila ng tama at normal na istilo ng pagtext, hindi na kailangang pahabain yung word, wala namang masama sa pagsunod sa kung ano yung norms, yung katanggap-tanggap sa paningin ng madlang tao. Masarap man maging unique, maging iba, pero minsan, hindi sa lahat ng pagkakataon eh, maganda yung bago, minsan, kung ano yung luma, yung nakasanayan, yun pa din ang mas nakakabuti. AT MAY AAMININ AKO HABANG TINATYPE KO TO, lasing ako at wala sa ulirat. KAYA WALA KA DAPAT PANIWALAAN SA MGA PINAGSASABI KO!! HAHAHAHAHA..yun lang..isang pagsasayang lang sa oras yung ginawa mo if ever na binasa mo to. Isang walang kwentang perspective ko sa Jejemon issue..

Repost lang to, I think it is helpful sa mga bloggers, mapa-proffesional o nag-fefeeling lang (haha..) since sometimes, it is frustrating that you wanted to write something, but then an idea won't come out in your head...so I guess, this post can be helpful...:)

The most difficult thing for a blogger is looking an ideas for writing. Writing an article for a blog can sometimes be the hardest thing for a blogger. It can occur at certain moments where sometimes there is a sense of saturated and bored. At least this is what I often experienced during this.
Here, I’ll try to share some tips to get a fresh idea for you to write in your own blog.
1. Take a Bath.
Maybe it looks even funny. If you shower with warm water or cold water, just maybe will bring lots of ideas. We recommend that you do not need to rush, just enjoy your bath time, calm your mind and enjoy what you’ve done, often a fresh idea will emerge. And the shower will be able to make your body feel more refreshed. So that a fresh idea will come to you.
2. Take a little walk.
Although I very rarely walk away due to busy taking care of this blog but I always strive to walk even though only about 15 minutes. At foot enjoyed many activities of others which is all around us that can change our focus from the world of online business into something else. And this will bring a fresh idea for you. I have often tried this and I highly recommend for you.
3. Read a book.
It is undeniable that from a book will appear a fresh idea for you. By reading the book will be able to add your knowledge about something which of course will bring a fresh new idea for you to write on your blog.
4. Relaxation.
Relaxing or refreshing to a place is the best choice for calming the mind and refreshes the body, especially in the middle of saturation your online business that demands for each day is always in front of a laptop or Personal Computer. Use your time well to obtain or refreshing relaxation with your family, friends or people you
love. This will bring in fresh ideas for you and can also relieve your stress.

wala lang..gusto ko lang..matagal na kasi akong hindi nagpopost ng gawa ko..puro repost lang lahat, mga ninakaw sa kung kani-kaninong blog tas ipopost dito, pero may credit din naman sa huli..ang kaso nga lang, nakakalimutan ko kung san ko nakuha...patawad kung ganun..
masyadong random tong post na to, at tinatype ko kung ano yung gusto kong itype...walang theme...basta nagtatype ako..gusto kong magpost...
summer na..well, hindi naman obvious eh no? tagal ng summer..matagal ng mainit...matagal din ang tag-init...ang malamang, ang abril at mayo e, paumanhin sa pagwawangis, para sigurong impyerno ang klima, kahit na di pa naman ako nakakapunta doon...siguro sa future? wag, BV...hahaha..:)
dalawang linggo lang ang bakasyon namin, gatas naman oh...duty na naman ako buong summer...ayoko ng magduty..promise..ayoko na atang magnursing e? bakit ganun...hindi ko pa din siya ma-appreciate? at habang papalapit na akong magtapos, kung papalarin, sa kursong to, bakit...parang...ayoko na? bakit parang...ramdam ko, hindi ko talaga ma-imagine, na isang araw, nasa ospital ako, nagtatrabaho, kaharap ang pasyente at kung anu-ano pa...bakit ganun? gusto ko mang kumawala sa akademyang naging aking tahanan sa tatlong taon, ayoko namang masayang...gusto kong umalis...oo...pero pag-alis ko...ano ba namang kahihinatnan ko? kukuhanin ko ang kursong parang sa tingin ko e ikasasaya ko at gusto ko? pero ang tanong...ano yun? hindi ko alam...kung ano...wala ata akong patutunguhan...parang nasa kawalan ata ako...hindi naman sa parang sumusuko na ako....feeling ko e, parang patapon na buhay ko...isang taon na lang...oo, isang taon na lang...at welcome-to-the-reality na ang drama ko at ng mga ka-batch ko...hindi pa ako handa...sabihin man na nating may pagka-pessimist ang approach, sa tingin ko, sa performance ko ngayon...hindi ako papasa niyan para sa board exam...at malamang...doon...doon ko siguro mararamdaman yung disappointment sakin ng parents ko...pagdating sa academics, wala silang problema sakin...pero, ewan ko na lang pagdating sa pagsusulit na to...at...parang...masyado na atang personal tong nilahad ko...ngayon ko lang narealize...
Hindi ko alam...bakit parang down pa din ako sa mga nakalipas na linggo? hindi ko alam...talaga...promise...parang..ewan ako...ewan talaga...kailangan ko ata ng makakausap at tama na ang kakalaro ng the sims at naaadik na naman ako?
wala sila ama at ina, nasa baguio sila..at ang saya-saya..may allowance ako for the whole week..ang ganda sana..ang kaso, bukas na sila uuwi...at baka bawiin pa yun..kailangang mag-isip ng idadahilan...para...di mabawi yung allowance....at kailangang magconspire kay ina...hahahaha..
